KEENSBURG -- The Wabash County Sheriff's Office has arrested 30-year-old Brian J. Bultinck of Keensburg following a reported domestic disturbance Thursday.
Sheriff's deputies responded at approximately 11:17 a.m. to a domestic disturbance complaint in Keensburg and Bultinck was subsequently arrested by the Sheriff's Office for Aggravated Domestic Battery, Child Endangerment and Reckless Conduct.
The incident is still under investigation at this time by the Sheriff's Office and more charges may be filed, Sheriff Joe Keeling stated. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Mt. Carmel Police Department and the Illinois State Police and Southern Illinois Drug Task Force.
Authorities spotted the white truck allegedly being driven by Bultinck on Route 1 south of Mt. Carmel where he was stopped. Bultinck is being held in the Wabash County Jail awaiting bond, the sheriff indicated.
Bultinck, formerly of Havelock, N.C., had made a court appearance earlier Thursday before Circuit Judge Christopher Weber on a traffic ticket for driving on a suspended license.
That case was dismissed after Bultinck showed proof of a valid license.
