EVANSVILLE, Ind. - St. Mary's LifeFlight will conduct a mock crash drill in Mt. Carmel on Saturday, Nov. 14. The simulated exercise is completed at least once a year by the LifeFlight crew in an effort to expose the Tri-State region to a crashed aircraft.

LifeFlight's goal is to educate our service area on this type of event and to work with local Emergency Medical Services personnel to establish and test a response plan.

This particular event will help the Mt. Carmel area EMS and fire departments practice their reaction to a crashed aircraft.

The LifeFlight crew is sharing this information in order to alleviate any concerns that may arise from the citizens of Mt. Carmel.

Sirens will sound at the beginning of the drill, but please know this is not an actual crash or an emergency.
