The Corner tops sales in Merchants Duck Race fundraiser

<b>Next race, coming up!</b> <p>Darrin Gottman, who coordinates the annual Wabash County Retail Merchants Committee Duck Race with Wayne Walden, gathered up some of the ducks after one of Friday evening's races so the next race could be held. Bill Hudson, manager of the Mt. Carmel Municipal Swimming Pool, where the races are held, waited with one of the boxes which held the ducks. Three races were held Friday with C. Michael Witters, Charlotte Kingsbury and Register Employees winning. Witters purchased his duck at The Corner while Kingsbury purchased hers at the Republican Register.
