Friends and family of Cpl. Rocky Hoard would like to invite everyone to a benefit for Rocky, who was injured in a roadside bombing while serving in Afghanistan for the Marine Corps.

The benefit will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Mt. Carmel Moose Lodge, 127 E. 3rd St. There will be a meal consisting of homemade cavatini, and a silent auction and raffles will be held throughout the evening. There will also be a dessert auction.

Funds raised will help Rocky's family with expenses incurred during his extended recovery and time away from home.
