Elaine Johnson Kent (Aug. 18, 1934-Sept. 30, 2009) had "a gypsy soul." She married her high school sweetheart when he was commissioned overseas, enjoying being the wife of an Air Force Captain, living in Okinawa for a year, and traveling throughout Europe and Asia.
