After completing the fall 2009 season with six wins and one loss, the Mt. Carmel U-11 Soccer Aces won the Gibson County Soccer Club tournament. Winning 1-0 against Oakland City, 2-0 versus Haubstadt, and 3-2 against Owensville, in a two day span the Aces brought the trophy home. Each game was exciting and tense for parents, fans and players alike.

Scoring crucial goals to secure each win were Weston DeShon, Brayden Stipp, Camden Shaw and Ryan Webb. The midfield players, Cole Linson, Andrew Tennis and Ezekiel Roberts, provided strong support and defense. Allowing only two goals the whole weekend, Alex Orr and Andrew Carwile displayed great defensive form. Both Jonathan West and Simon Berberich made critical saves playing goalkeeper.

When asked how he felt after winning it all, Weston DeShon replied, "I feel like I won the World Cup!"

Ryan Webbproclaimed, "This is the best day ever!"

And Alex Orr asked, "Did anyone bring snacks?"
