Posted: Tuesday, October 29, 2013 11:07 pm

PRINCETON—Defense attorney Michael Cochren is asking a special judge to allow him to withdraw as counsel of record for murder defendant Jason S. Perry.

In Cochren’s motion to withdraw from the case filed Tuesday in Gibson Circuit Court, he says Perry filed a letter with the court which alleges that his court-appointed attorneys have a conflict of interest regarding contacts between Perry and a former client.
