Theater family pleased with revival plans

PRINCETON—The downtown Princeton theater grand opening July 21, 1948, coincided with Ed Thies Jr.’s birthday.

Thies said his father, a managing partner in bringing the theater to Princeton 65 years ago, would be honored to see the plans in store for reviving the now-vacant building for public use.
