Spencer- Spencer and Indiana State Police are investigating a Friday afternoon bank robbery in the Owen County town and say it's possible the suspect is from Southern Indiana.

Police say a man entered the Peoples Bank at 304 East Morgan Street, displayed a handgun, gave the teller a bag and demanded cash. No injuries were reported. He left the bank headed south on East Street.

Police are looking for a white male in his 50's. Witnesses said he was wearing a tan baseball hat, tan jacket, button down tan or gray shirt and blue jeans and eyeglasses at the time of the robbery.
