Spangler hearing set for Tuesday

PRINCETON —Gibson Circuit Judge Jeff Meade hears arguments  at 10 a.m. Tuesday on motions filed in the Robert D. Spangler murder case.

  Defense attorney John Goodridge of Evansville filed a notice of mental disease or defect defense for Spangler, 66. The Fort Branch man is held without bond in the Gibson County jail following his arrest in connection with the Nov. 2 bludgeoning death of Patricia A. Heichelbech, 70, Chrisney, at his home.
