PRINCETON - Ruth E. Reeder, 67, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at GibsonGeneral Hospital.

Born Aug. 21, 1942 in Lockhaven, Pa., she was the daughter of Elry Watkins and Fay (Woomer)Watkins.

She was a retired poultry inspector at Farbest Foods.

Survivors include son, David Reeder of Fort Branch; daughter, Carol Janes of Fishers; mother, Fay Watkins of Howard, Pa.; and a brother, Miles Watkins of Howard, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Elry Watkins in 1984; and brother, Lester Watkins.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at W. Robert Neff Funeral Home in Howard, Pa. with the Rev. Kenneth Stephens will officiating. Burial will be in Summit Hill Cemetery in Summit Hill, Pa.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Pennsylvania.

Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch is handling local arrangements.
