PETERSBURG - Lena June Ross, 85, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2009 at Washington Nursing Center in Washington.

Born July 6, 1924 in Glezen, she was the daughter of Lester and Francis (Loveless) York.

Survivors include sons, Wayne Ross of Winslow, Glen and Boyd Ross both of Oakland City; sister, Leona Jean Townsend of Little Rock, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Oscar S. Ross in 2002.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. (EDT) Saturday at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastors Jim Harrell and Jack Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Glezen.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
