Curves of Newburgh collected and mailed 12 boxes of donated items and $271 from donation efforts in their club to benefit the Unit of United States Air Force Captain Mark Kleeman and Private First Class Nicholas Baumhoer, both stationed in Afghanistan. Both are relatives of Curves members.

The sky was clear and the seas were calm when the residents of Woodmont Health Campus sat down to enjoy a special Captain's Dinner on Friday, Aug. 21. This cruise-themed dinner was planned specially for residents and featured a menu with tastes from around the world, including South Seas Prawns, Mediterranean Caesar Salad with Select Heirloom Garden Greens, Duo of Beef Tenderloin and Seafood, Fresh Cornucopia of Heartland Vegetables, Royal Dessert and a selection of international coffee and teas.
