Governor Mitch Daniels honored a Warrick County business for longevity and community service in the Statehouse on Wednesday, Nov. 4 during the annual Governor's Century and Half Century Business Awards ceremony.
Woodmont Health Campus received the Platinum Award for excellence at the Trilogy Health Services Fall Meeting on Oct. 8 and 9. The award was based on customer satisfaction results from a semi-annual survey that is sent to residents' family members. Woodmont Health Campus received recognition for their customer satisfaction scores in Staff Attitude, Quality of Nursing Care, Food Quality, Activity Programming and Appearance/Cleanliness. To receive the Platinum Award in Customer Satisfaction, results must have been a 9.0 to a 10, with 10 being the highest score, in each category.
Boonville residents Christina Bourland, Jason M. and Katie M. Weinert and Irene Wasson, and Chandler resident Joe Emmons are among the 1,377 people the Internal Revenue Service is looking for to receive refund checks.
Warrick County property owners have until Dec. 31
The United States Census is about to begin a targeted effort in Boonville to recruit workers to take the census next spring. Census takers (also known as enumerators) are hired to make sure the city is represented as accurately as possible. Their primary responsibility is to collect census information from residents that have not sent back their 2010 census form. They also explain the purpose of the census and record their responses.
