Homes of Note House Tour

Posted: Thursday, March 17, 2005 12:00 am | Updated: 2:41 pm, Tue Jul 14, 2009.

Curator of Collections for the Evansville Museum Mary Bower and Jean Denton Brubeck show off a 20s style dress that had belonged to Jean's mother, Ann Denton Brubeck. The dress was part of a vintage clothing style show held March 3 at Rolling Hills Country Club in Newburgh. The event was a kick-off for the Evansville Philharmonic Guild's "Homes of Note House Tour 2005" fundraising effort, which features five historic homes on Evansville's east side and antique cars from Olde Time Auto Club. The home tour takes place Saturday, April 16, with proceeds to benefit the educational program of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra--particularly to help keep the youth concerts free for area students. For ticket or other information, please contact Sharon Tuggle at 422-2826 or by e-mail at sharonbt@evansville.net.
