The Newburgh Fiddler Fest is helping save a cemetery.

The Friends of Newburgh, a nonprofit organization that hosts the Fiddler Fest every year, uses profits from the event to support various organizations in Newburgh. Its latest project is Myrtle Ridge Cemetery, located on S.R. 261 at Sharon Road, the final resting place of some of Newburgh’s founding citizens and Civil War soldiers.
